Not too bad As I was hoping, the Taxol proved to be somewhat easier to manage than my previous combination of chemo drugs, at least for now!

I experienced a variety of side effects, but none of them kept me down for too long. The worst of it was the achy-ness and suddenly feeling very tired at a few points during the weekend. At least I was up and around for most of the holiday weekend, so I was really grateful for that.

I've heard that the side effects get progressively worse, but this is supposed to be a very effective drug, so I'm grateful for that, too.

I took Dinah and Djuna to a play date in the park, and we had dinner with a close friend on Memorial Day. Other than that, we took it easy and had a really relaxing weekend.
