Dinah and Djuna went to their last day of preschool today. They don’t quite understand that it’s the last day of school. In any case, it is, and when they have no place in particular to go on Monday morning, they’ll figure it out soon enough!
This is a photo of Djuna and Dinah in front of the job board in their (former) classroom. If you look closely, you’ll see that Djuna’s nametag is two spaces above Samantha’s, the line leader for the last day of school. When I asked the girls to stand by the job board for a picture, Djuna, obviously unaware that it’s the last day of school, said, “Look Mama. In two more days, I’ll be line leader!” (I supposed they rotate the cards downward on a daily basis.) Oh, to be line leader!
