Six down, two to go!
I had my sixth round of chemo today. I can't stand the Benadryl they give me -- it makes me so sleepy & groggy! But it wore off in time for me to make it to a nice pre-graduation event at Westridge tonight.
I imagine the achy-ness will set in tomorrow or Saturday. But whatever, I'll take it as it comes and just keep trying to celebrate the fact that I only have two more treatments.
There are many fun things ahead, like planning the girls' birthday party this summer, getting them started in their first little day camp, getting to play with them more when I finish up at Westridge in a couple of weeks.
Finally, even though there is a lot left for me in terms of treatment, like surgery and probably radiation, I at least feel like I am heading down the other side of the mountain in terms of chemotherapy!

oh my - are those girls going to be FIVE YEARS OLD? it can't be!
i'll tell you, the benadryl made chal sleepy, too, but it made for some really funny moments for me. he doesn't remember any of them, but he always gave the nurses a laugh!
